| Before we start |
| The morning of Day 1 it's important to clear the area for the pool as well as the access into your yard. |

| Excavation begins - Day 1 |
| Excavation is a job for an experienced backhoe operator. Normally the side excavation is 2-3 ft. beyond the pool edge to allow for assembly, plumbing and concrete footing installation. |

| Steel panels are set - Day 1 |
| As the excavation proceeds, the steel panels and steps are set, level and plumbed. The bottom of the pool is taking shape. |

| Pool plumbing and footing - Day 1 |
| After the excavation is complete and all the panels are set, the plumbing and footing is installed. Light backfilling and preparation for pool bottom installation will proceed. |

| Pool bottom installation - Day 2 |
| The morning of Day 2 the next step of mixing and installing the Pool-krete bottom progresses. This is a porous mix of vermiculite and portland cement that is hand troweled to maintain the shape and integrity of the pool bottom underneathe the liner. |

| Liner installation - Day 2 |
| Once the pool bottom as dried, the vinyl liner can be installed. |

| Getting ready to add water - Day 2 |
| The liner is carefully fitted into the pool, the faceplates are installed on stairs, inwall ladder and main drains. We're ready for water! |

| Cover installation - Day 4 |
| Day 3 is normally spent filling the pool with water from your garden hose. Once the pool is full, if so equipped, the automatic safety cover is installed. The electrical and gas connections are also made to prepare for the concrete decking. |

| Prepaing for landscaping - Day 5-6 |
| After the cement decking is installed and cured for 1-2 days, the control cuts are made. Deck mounted accessories can be installed (slides, etc.) Final grading can be completed at this point to prepare for landscaping. |
|
| Project complete - Days 7-10 |
| Water is balanced and pool area is cleaned. Weekly pool service continues for the next 3 weeks to assure proper operation. Landscaping is complete and your new backyard is ready for your friends and family to enjoy for years to come. |
